I’ve really enjoyed working on the Apple Swizzle Hat by Thea Colman, this month’s Boost Your Knitting pattern. It’s real potato chip knitting (just one more dip stitch, then I’ll go to bed I swear!) If you’ve also been bitten by the dip stitch bug, here are a few more patterns that feature the technique!

This month’s Boost Designer, Thea Colman, has used dip stitches before, so whatever you fancy, Thea has you covered! First up is her beautiful and wearable Tanqueray sweater (above), which features a pretty dip stitch in the neck edging. If you prefer a smaller project, then how cute are these?

Firmament by Hunter Hammersen
A beautiful collection of four hat patterns, featuring four different types of dip stitches, designed by Hunter Hammersen. The collection includes the incredibly popular Constellate Hat, (check out Jen’s excellent version), as well a mini dip stitch dictionary and notes on designing your own dip stitches! Jen’s gorgeous stole features leaf-like lace, an icord edging, and, that’s right, dip stitches! The pattern calls for anything between sportweight and laceweight, and I think you could knit up a really lovely summery shawl in Something to Knit With 4ply!
Like March’s technique, the tuck stitch, patterns aren’t often tagged with “dip stitch” on Ravelry, and sometimes the stitch is referred to in other ways But I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled for them … I stumbled on this shawl design in progress by Julia Parlette-Cariño over on Instagram the other day which looks like it will be a stunner! And Jen’s started a bundle on Ravelry with plenty more inspiration (do shout in the comments if you know of one we should include)!
